What is the best age at which to get my baby's ears pierced?

There is no medical evidence to support any age restrictions. We have pierced ears as early as 4-6 weeks old.  Whatever the age you decide on, it’s essential that you choose where you will have the procedure done carefully.

We will pierce your baby’s ears whenever your are comfortable having the procedure done. We have clients from many places around the world and many ethnic groups who traditionally have their babies ears pierced very early. We have many people who have been told by their Doctors to wait until the baby turns 6 months old.

Some doctors will advise their clients to have the baby’s ears pierced after the first shot. So it really varies. With over 45 years of experience performing ear piercings for all ages you should expect great results whatever age you decide to have your baby’s ears pierced by us. We pierce ears of all ages, infants are just our specialty.

What do you use to pierce the ears?

We use the medical ear piercing gun which is the most widely used ear piercing instrument in the world.  We have used this instrument for over 45 years with absolutely no problems what so ever.  Millions of people around the world trust this instrument for safe and gentle piercing.

We also use the pre-sterilized disposable  hand pressurized instrument .  This this instrument uses the pressure (and complete control) of the  nurses' hand to safely guide, place, and pierce the ears. This instrument holds a sterilized single-use cartridge containing the sterile starter stud earrings that pierce the ear. This is truly a no-touch system that protects the clients as well as the Nurses from contamination.  The most innovated and technologically advanced instrument. The “touch-free” ear piercing process highlights: safety, hygiene, and ease of use. The one piece cartridge gives smooth operation and ensures proper alignment of the stud with clasp.

The patented design provides a gentle action for a quick, painless piercing. The ear is automatically pierced with a simple spring action trigger in one easy step.   This hand-pressurized instrument allows for a gentle and direct control with each and every piercing.

You can choose whichever system you prefer when the Nurse arrives.

Is the ear piercing safe?

Yes! Ear piercing is safe.

Does the Ear Piercing Hurt?

Our ear piercing systems are designed to pierce ears virtually pain free. When performed properly, most people feel little or no discomfort. Infants sometimes cry for a very short time. Similar to the way they cry when they get immunization shots at the Doctor's office.

Can The Piercing Earrings Be Used For Everyday Wear?

Yes! Many parents choose to use our earrings for everyday wear because they are 24K gold. They feel safe that it will not produce allergies with long term wear. We do sell our earring for everyday wear as well.  Simply give us a call and we will make arrangements for you to buy the earrings.

A minimum of 6-8 weeks for pierced ear lobes and 12 weeks
for ear cartilage piercings. We suggest for infants to leave the earrings in the ears for at least 8 weeks. Also you must keep earrings in the ears continuously for at least a year or the holes will close

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THE EARS HEAL?

Clean the pierced area(s) with an Ear Care Solution twice a day. Avoid touching the piercings whenever possible. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

Can I bring my own earrings?
No. Our earrings are 24K gold which promotes quick healing. Our earrings are sterile, they are made especially for ear piercing instrument. In order to reduce the risk of infection and nickel allergy, we only use our medically nickel-free sterile 24K gold earrings.
